WMUSA's Futures Academy Program aims to create a fun, friendly, challenging environment that helps develop creative young soccer players and instills a passion for the love of the game of soccer. Academy players are immersed into an environment where the primary focus is on learning and developing each players fundamental soccer skills, such as dribbling skills, 1v1 abilities, passing & receiving and shooting & finishing.

Players will work on and develop the skills necessary to take their game to the next level. Training sessions will be fun and competitive to improve the skill level of the player.

The Academy is a year-long program that starts in the fall and runs through the spring.  Each player will receive seasonal, weekly professional training sessions; all 1 hour in length. Players will participate in 2-3 club festivals/ playdate events in the Fall and Spring seasons. 

We provide U7- U8 (born 2015 & 2016) players the opportunity to continue participating in our intramural recreational league while having the advantage of supplemental, technical training provided by WMUSA professional coaching staff.  Players have the opportunity to move up to the WMUSA Travel Teams when they reach the U9 age group.

FUTURES ACADEMY REGISTRATION

 

When registering please select U8 and then you will see the following 2 payment options:

1. Academy Boys & Girls '15/'16 - Full Season
2. Academy Boys & Girls '15/'16 - Half Season

 

Cost of the Academy Program:

1. Yearly Fee ($399)- Includes the all events/ training sessions for the Fall and Spring. 

2. Half Season Fees ($249)- Participating in just one of our seasons - Fall or Spring.

 

* Financial Aid is available upon request.

** All players will receive a uniform kit (shirt, shorts and socks to be worn to all training sessions and events).

September 2022:  3 Weeks of Training @ Indoor location

October 2022: 3 Weeks of Training @ Indoor location

November 2022: 3 Week of Training @ Indoor location

December 2022: OFF

January 2023: OFF

February 2023: OFF

March 2023: 4 Weeks of Training

April 2023: 3 Week of Training @ Indoor location

May 2023: 4 Weeks of Training @ HillTop Soccer Complex 

**U8 Travel team will be part of our Travel program for 2022-23 Season.
