What is TOPSoccer?

TOPSoccer is a community-based training and team placement program for young athletes with disabilities. WMU's program is designed to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any boy or girl, ages 5-18, who has a mental or physical disability. Our goal is to enable young athletes with disabilities to become valued and successful members of the Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer & US Youth Soccer families.

When: Sundays from 12:00-1:00 PM.

Training Session Dates: 3/20, 3/27, 4/3, 4/10, 4/24, 5/1, 5/8, 5/15

Where: Field at Crossroads Presbyterian Church , 10 W Cherry Lane, Limerick PA (church facilities available)

Coach Dave Stevenson is a high school soccer coach and teacher.                   

Coach Teresa Straffin is an elem/entary special education teacher.   

Players: Children ages 5-18 years old (bring sneakers, ball and water)                          

Player Registration:

Cost: $50.00 per player


Volunteer Buddies: Seeking volunteers 10 years old & up preferably with soccer experience to assist training. Interested volunteers, please complete the Volunteer Registration Form

The program fosters the physical and emotional growth and development of America’s youth through the sport of soccer at all levels. It takes kids from the sidelines and gets them into the game. The players will develop a sense of community and will learn what it is to be part of a team. The program will help improve social skills, fitness and self-esteem. But most importantly, the players and their buddies will have FUN!!
