West Ham United North American Academy Partnership

SEE: DECEMBER 1, 2015 PRESS RELEASE

West-Mont United Soccer Association and West Ham United North American Academy have joined into a partnership. A world-renown football club, West Ham United, has produced some of the greatest talent within Europe. Now with this partnership, WMUSA will be given the opportunity to further enhance the development program for boys and girls. WMUSA currently focuses training efforts on youth players - intramural through advanced skill - ultimately preparing the players for the elite level play.

In the summer of July 2017, West-Mont hosted a West Ham North American AcademyPlayer ID Camp. Participating players were trained and evaluated by a coach from West Ham. Several players displaying advanced level of play were invited to the West Ham North American Academy National Camp which will be located regionally.

WMUSA boys' director of coaching, Dennis Squires, believes this newly formed relationship comes with great benefits for the WMUSA organization. "West Ham United has produced some of the greatest talent within professional soccer worldwide. I feel this is a great opportunity for all of our players to showcase their potential through academy curriculums and ID camps offered by West Ham United,” says Squires. This partnership will dramatically increase the capabilities of WMUSA by allowing focus on the elite athlete with enhanced benefits:
