| The Cheetahs welcomed 4 new players to the 2009-10 Cheetah team, as well as bringing on Coach Ray Hess as their trainer. The Cheetahs started out their 2009-10 season with a commanding win in the 2009 West-Mont "Battle at Hilltop" tournament with a record of 5-0-1 and only 2 goals against. For the fall season, the Cheetahs are competing in the PAGS Premier Man United Division. Already this fall, the Cheetahs competed in the top division of the Kirkwood Girls Premier Frederick Cup. Despite several injured players, they played top competition from PA and NJ and came away with a 0-2-1 record with all games just a 1-point margin. The highlight of their weekend was tying Super Nova 1-1. Later this fall, they will compete in the Hempfield Fall Classic. They look forward to a successful season with a strong focus on development. |
